28th November Annual Club Gala - open to all swimmers 🏊‍♂️! A great opportunity for gala practice and experience, alongside your fellow swimmers, in an encouraging, and great fun environment 😀 💜

12th December Annual Club Presentation and Social evening. A wonderful evening where both swimmers 🏊‍♂️ and families come together for the evening to celebrate and connect 😀 💜

Dear swimmers, parents, and carers,

There are a few Woodchurch SC families who have booked a session on the inflatable aqua park at Wild Shore, Delamere on Sunday 16th August at 4pm.

If you'd like to join us, it'd be great to see you there too!

We've booked a party shelter so you can bring a picnic tea to enjoy with friends afterwards - we'll book 2 (or 3!) if there are lots of families joining us so do let us know if you book on.

Please be aware that Swimming Club coaches will not be responsible for your children during this event and parents must stay to supervise. Under 8s will need a parent on the water.

Wild Shore is a family focused watersports and aqua park, nestled next to a beautiful lake in Delamere, Cheshire. Providing adrenaline-charged outdoor activities including, wakeboarding, stand up paddle boarding, wild swimming and much more.

And last weekend in at the 2k open water swim, it wasn't just our swimmers taking part - here is one of our coaches, finishing some way behind our swimmers, but finishing none the less, in 41 minutes! 🤩

Our Woodchurch Swimming Club swimmers did really well, especially as for some, it was their first licensed meet!!
Congratulations 🎊

🥇Swimmers appeared to have a great time and many came home laden with medals 🏅

What an achievement 👏 👌 We are so proud of each and every one of you!!💜💜💜

🌊🏊‍♂️ WHAT AN AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT! 🏊‍♂️🌊
A huge congratulations to our Woodchurch Swimming Club swimmers, Oscar, Ivan and George, who took on the incredible challenge of the Cross Mersey Swim 2026 the weekend before last 🎉👏

Swimming across the Mersey takes an incredible amount of courage, determination and resilience, and these three young swimmers showed all of that in abundance. 💪🌊

Oscar, Ivan and George — you were amazing! We are incredibly proud of you and everything you achieved. What a fantastic experience and a brilliant accomplishment for our Woodchurch Swim Club family! 💜🏊‍♂️

Well done, boys — you should be very proud of yourselves! 🏅👏

We have quite a few posts to share of recent summer events, where individuals have decided they would like to compete in open water swimming 🏊‍♂️ events.

Here is one of the first that took place on June 27th when Ivan took part in the Swim England North West and SE NE Open Water Championships at Sale Water Park.

He was Cheshire County winner and 4th in region (16 & over category) in the 5km race with a time of 1:36.05 🏆🏅!!!

Congratulations 🎊 👏 - what an achievement!

💜 Good luck to all our swimmers 🏊‍♂️ at Woodchurch Swimming Club 💜 this Saturday, when we will be defending our title as Champions of the Wirral Peninsular Development League! 🏆

We wish you all the very best of luck as you compete on Saturday afternoon at Brio Ellesmere Port Sports Village.

Swim fast, race hard, and enjoy every moment. We are proud of every one of you! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️
