Belated congratulations to the Seniors on winning the North Wales Basketball Association plate over the weekend. Jay, Mikey & Curtis started with us as teenagers, which makes us very proud. (Edit: Mikey started with us when he was in primary school!)

Under-11s on tour! And we mean next year's group (only one year 6. We were even told one of today's team was too young for u11s next season, boooo!)

It may be off-season for some, so we lost a couple of players to cricket, but we just went up to Manchester for Basketball North West May Madness and beat ALL our local rivals.

Several are then off to the North Wales Basketball Association under-12s Trophy Day tomorrow.

The perfect season wasn't quite to be. Unbeaten through the North Wales Basketball Association League and Cup.

So, yet another double. But we couldn't repeat in the Basketball Wales Terry Price Cup.

But what a group! All but Aaron & Tala started their team basketball with us. Ben K, Dylan (injured), Ethan, Freddie S (injured), Gabe and Patrick all started with us shortly after the Covid lockdowns & have won medals galore. For the more recent arrivals Adam, Ben B, Charlie, Freddie H, Max and Nico (unavailable) it's been a learning experience beyond their Championship year in the Basketball North West Mersey Conference.

Now, with a couple considering Academy Basketball and at least one joining the armed forces, we are likely to bid farewell to one of the most colourful groups we've had at the Bulldogs.

Well done to Coach Karl for having kept them focused.

To our guards especially, this is your next move. It took me the full set of front view repeats before I realised that she is touching the ball only with her left hand when she makes the head fake to shoot. Outstanding.

Double! A few days late, but our Under-16s maintained their 100% record in the Basketball North West Regional League with a big win at Stockport (and they were very happy about it) on Sunday, while the under-14s won big against a depleted Wrexham squad in the North Wales Basketball Association.
