Malcolm is generally a modest chap who doesn’t shout about his achievements, so it’s taken a while for him to agree to share this thoughtful and much appreciated gesture from the lads of Pen y Bryn Sea Angling Club, most of whom he has known for a very long time...
Earlier this year they came over to present the Dexter Cup and a tackle voucher to Gwion, the 2025 winner. They also brought with them a lovely surprise which Vice Chairman, Steve Aughton, presented to Malcolm.
We are both deeply touched by the club’s kindness and generosity in giving us this beautiful plaque, and extremely proud to be honorary members of Pen Y Bryn Sea Angling Club; the plaque is even more special as it was designed and made by the club’s very own John Harrison ❤
Thank you so much for your support, we look forward to seeing you all soon. Sad we missed you this morning; i did a Kitty assisted flying crash on the tarmac yesterday - my knees refused to move this morning.....🙃###

COMPETITION REMINDER!

Our 'Lure' and 'Bait' Bass competition starts tomorrow (Friday 27/03). The cards will be available for collection as soon as the shop opens tomorrow morning.

We'd like to make you all aware that there is still a ban on keeping a bass until 01st April, so be sure to return any fish caught before this date. From the 01st April onwards, you can keep up to 3 fish a day, so long as they are equal to or over the minimum size limit of 42cm!

🎣 Free Competition No.12 is upon us! 🎣

Dust off your bass rods, as Spring is here and so are the bass. Seems only right we run a bass only competiton, with prizes being offered to the individuals with the 'Longest LURE caught' and 'Longest BAIT caught' fish.

Entry cards will be available at the shop from Friday 27th March and the competition will run until Thursday 16th April @ 21:00.

🔥 PLEASE NOTE: All lure caught entries must contain video evidence of a lure rod and the lure used in the entry video. Any entry that does not show evidence can only be accepted in the bait caught section.
