North West Venturers Yacht Club (NWVYC)

North West Venturers Yacht Club (NWVYC) Friendly sailing club with an extensive programme for cruising around Anglesey and local waters in N A family friendly yacht club formed in 1961.

We are more interested in cruising in company rather than Kevlar sails and racing. Most weekends will find us sailing to an anchorage around Anglesey for a bbq on the beach, kicking a ball about or flying kites with the kids. We have two, two week cruises to further destinations around the Irish Sea including the Isle of Man, Ireland and Scotland. Our members, collectively, have a wealth of experience sailing these waters and are happy to share that knowledge with new and less experienced sailors. We all had to start somewhere!
