Aigas Golf Course and Holiday Cottages A scenic 9-hole golf course with charming self-catering holiday cottages. The perfect place to stay Our 9-hole golf course at Aigas opened for play in 1993.

Mains of Aigas has been home to the Masheter family since 1960. The courtyard cottages were developed through the years to supplement the farm activities. It was thought that it could complement our already well-established holiday cottage business as a farm diversification on steeper land behind the farm. However, our famoly friend and golf course designer, Bill Mitchell PGA of Grantown on Spey,

had other ideas, and quickly dismissed the idea of constructing a course on steep terrain and opted for the more naturally undulating land on the valley floor which has proved perfect for the par 33 course. Large greens and wide rolling fairways are a popular feature of the course and some of the beautiful scenery surrounding Aigas can be seen by viewing each hole on our website. The course has matured well during the first 15 years of play and we strive to keep it well manicured at all times. We have added a number of water features, bunkers and recently a well-equipped practise area adjacent to the clubhouse. We are always looking to make further improvements to enhance this challenging course. Aigas Golf Club was formed in 1995 and members enjoy a variety of competions throughout the summer months. We always aim to offer our holiday clients and golfing visitors a warm welcome and are happy to provide any information on golfing in the Highlands.
