Set within the New Forest National Park, Beaulieu River is one of the most picturesque locations on the south coast for short stays and permanent moorings. Marking the south eastern edge of the Beaulieu Estate, the river is one of the few privately owned estuaries in the world. ly serviced berths and over 300 moorings. Buckler's Hard Yacht Harbour offers full marina services and has been awarded the prestigious five Gold Anchor Award by the Yacht Harbour Association. We were proud to help lift this beautiful classic yacht Tomahawk from the water and clean her ready for transportation to new adventures.

It was a huge operation which ran very smoothly and we received kind words and appreciation about our professionalism and care from logistics organisers.

During her life, the 48ft ocean racer by Sparkman & Stephens has undergone a complete restoration and competed in various classic events.

What better way to start the bank holiday weekend than unwind with a spot of Goat Yoga! Yes goat yoga, or Goga with the team from Mucky Bucket Farm. 🐐

Our customers and staff enjoyed some gentle stretching in the company of ten pygmy goats, including the very naughty Reggie!

Never a dull day at the Beaulieu River. 😁

New towing boat Pickle has been put to work on the Beaulieu River to help provide key services for mooring holders, including making life easier by bringing their boats to the marina ahead of stays.

Meanwhile, trusted barge Dextrous is undergoing a makeover in the new boatshed workshop. The 13m barge, which was built for the river in the Eighties, is being refurbished and given a new steel deck.

With an 11 tonne winch on board, it helps with inspecting and servicing moorings and navigation markers - and will soon be back on the river carrying out maintenance tasks for the autumn and winter.

An exhibition of finds from this summer's dig on the banks of the Beaulieu River is on show until Monday.

See artefacts in the riverside tent at Buckler's Hard, with information about what was unearthed at the historic shipyard. It's free to enter and open 10am - 4.30pm daily.

Over 70 volunteers took part in the dig, including divers from the 17th Port and Maritime Regiment at Marchwood to help excavate the lowest part of the largest slipway. Newly found structures of possible shipyard buildings were uncovered.

Follow the coastal path from Buckler's Hard to Beaulieu and call in at Keeping Marsh birdwatching hide to see the wildlife.
