🏆 RICHARD FILMER SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR – DON PIKE #8 🏆

A huge congratulations to Bearsted Rovers captain, Don Pike #8, who has been awarded the Richard Filmer Sportsman of the Year Award for Bearsted FC. 💙🤍

Don has been a huge part of this team for many years and continues to lead by example. As team captain, he sets the standards with his attitude, commitment and work rate, but just as importantly, with the way he conducts himself both on and off the pitch.

He’s a fantastic teammate, always respectful, always encouraging others and someone who represents exactly what we want Bearsted Rovers to be about.

This award isn’t just recognition of Don as a footballer — it recognises the sportsmanship, character and values he shows every week.

Bearsted Rovers U14 7–2 Staplehurst Monarchs

A nervy start saw us concede early again, this time to a brilliant Staplehurst strike—but the boys responded in style. 💪

Going through the gears, Rovers took control of the tempo and possession, scoring six goals without reply before finishing with a convincing 7–2 win.

Plenty to learn from the opening moments, but a brilliant response and a strong team performance. On to the next round of the Jack Small Cup! 🐻💙⚽️

Following our successful Division 3 Championship-winning season, Bearsted Rovers U13 are now preparing for life in Maidstone Youth League Division 1 and are looking to strengthen our squad with talented, committed players.

✅ Video analysis and tactical feedback provided
✅ Positive, ambitious environment

📍 Talent ID Sessions every Wednesday at Lenham 3G

Huge congratulations to all the players, coaches, and families on being named Team of the Year for U7 to U12 at Bearsted. An incredible achievement and so well deserved after all the hard work, commitment, teamwork, and passion shown throughout the season.

Every player should be proud of what they’ve achieved both on and off the pitch. The future is bright for this amazing group! 🏆👏

PLAYER OF THE SEASON 🏆🧤

A massive congratulations to Isaac Hill on being named Bearsted Rovers Player of the Season for 2025-26 👏💙

20 appearances. 12 league clean sheets. An unbelievable season between the sticks 🔥

From the moment he joined the squad, Isaac has completely transformed this team. He’s brought incredible talent, confidence and hunger to the group, raising standards every single week and giving the whole team belief.

His performances, leadership and presence have been outstanding all season long, producing big saves in big moments and becoming a player every teammate can trust.

When it came to Player of the Season… it couldn’t have been anyone else 👏🐻⚽
