📣 Club Captains 2026-27🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

We are delighted to announce our new Club Captains for the year ahead, Emily Dawson and Chloe Kirk! 🎉

Both Emily and Chloe have shown fantastic commitment, team spirit, and leadership qualities. They managed to stand out amongst many good candidates to win the job and have some really exciting ideas on how to take the club forwards. We know they will do an amazing job in supporting our swimmers, representing the club, and keeping the M&B spirit alive both in training and at competitions. 💙

Please join us in congratulating them on their new roles. We can’t wait to see the positive impact they will have as they lead the club forward this season! 🙌

Goodbye and Good Luck - don’t be a stranger!

This week we say goodbye to our club captain’s Joanna and Kerr, we would like to thank them for all their efforts, innovations and enthusiasm towards the role. We also lose a number of swimmers heading off to universities across Scotland. We’d like to wish you all the best in your university adventure and don’t be strangers when you return home.

Masters Bring the Energy at Tollcross!

September saw the return of the 2026 Short Course Masters event at Tollcross, bringing together over 300 swimmers for two days of racing, fun and plenty of team spirit. Our club was represented by a team of 15 swimmers, taking part in more than 50 events across the weekend.

There were some fantastic swims from the squad, with PBs smashed, national records broken and plenty of podium finishes along the way. The medals were coming in thick and fast, and there was no shortage of celebrations around the pool!

But, as always with Masters swimming, it wasn’t just about the results. There was a brilliant energy within the squad throughout the weekend, with swimmers supporting and encouraging each other, celebrating successes and keeping spirits high between races. The camaraderie in the team really stood out and made for a great atmosphere both on poolside and in the stands.

Whether it was your first race of the weekend or your last, there was always someone there to cheer you on. The combination of competitive racing, good humour and great team spirit made it a really enjoyable weekend for everyone involved.

A huge well done to all 15 swimmers who represented the club and contributed to such a successful meet. The Masters squad certainly did the club proud, and hopefully we can carry the same energy and enthusiasm into the next meet in October!

🏊 LEXIE & ADAM SELECTED FOR INTER-COUNTIES! 💙💚

Huge congratulations to Lexie C and Adam K, who have both been selected to represent Team Scotland West at Inter-counties! 🌟👏

Another fantastic achievement for two of our M&B swimmers and a brilliant reward for all the hard work, commitment and progress they’ve shown in the pool. 💪

💙💚 We hope you both have an amazing time and we’ll be cheering you on all the way!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that 5 M&B swimmers and 1 M&B coach have been selected for Scottish Swimming National Squads this season!

Massive congratulations to Adam on making the final at his British Championships debut! 💙💚

Adam swam exceptionally well in this morning’s heats, qualifying for the final as the 4th seed. He then went even faster in the final, swimming a new PB to finish 5th in the 13/14 age category (3rd 13 year old).

An incredible achievement. Well done, Adam! 💙💚
