It is with great sadness and regret that I have to inform you of the passing of Johnny Johnson (aged 90 years). Johnny passed away yesterday after a short illness in Eastbourne Hospital with his wife Linda by his bedside.
Johnny has been a massive ambassador for clay shooting via his work at the CPSA and his time in the Met Police.
Paula and I have been proud to call him a friend for many years and he always found time to find us on the clay ground to say hello, and despite his arthritis and years was always striving to shoot and show us how it should be done.
Rest in peace sir, the pleasure was ours.
