The first Trail Tuesday of 2026! …..

It’s been a gorgeous day, loving the light evenings and drier trails, perfect for a 6KM social trail run around Battle Great Wood.

I’m there running because these guys are there running, they show up, because I show up… and we all get it done together.

EASTER OUTDOOR CIRCUITS 🏋🏻‍♂️

Join me tomorrow for an awesome, old skool, Outdoor Circuits / Bootcamp style fitness class!!

There will be plenty of equipment (Kettlebells, Med Balls, Power-bags, Battle ropes etc) and of course a well structured and instructed class plan.

It wouldn’t be a Born Ready class without some burpees and shuttle runs too 😉 🏃🏻‍♂️ 💪🏽

Love trail running ? Want to get out and explore the local trails around Battle, Hastings and the surrounding villages.

Come and join me for a Sunday Team Adventure Run !

My only pre-requisites are that :

A. You are capable of running the planned distance.
B. You can comfortably run at a pace 12 min miles or less.

These runs are always a team effort, we look out for each other, have track back points for our faster runners and make sure we never leave anyone behind.

They’re not about running as fast as you can - they’re about getting the miles in, building the endurance, socially running with friends and enjoying the adventure. That’s not to say they’re not challenging - but that’s part of the fun right?

We did it !! 🏃🏻‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃

First run for me in a month.

After our lovely holiday in Egypt I’ve been hit hard with a Sinus, Chest and ear infection, recovering from that and antibiotics wiped me out!!

So a fresh start was well needed, a nice little trot around Battle - felt good to be running again 😊

The hardest part is getting out the door and it always feel fantastic once it’s done 💪🏽

is on fire right now!

Smashing 3x PT sessions a week, getting super lean and still pushing new strength limits!

85kg Deadlift for 3 this morning - went up easy, loads in the tank and that after hitting 300m fast/intense bike sprints yesterday.

Such a determined, committed and consistent client. It’s awesome to see her continue to find new levels.

But you didn’t stop.

I can only do 5 push ups.
Next time you’ll get 6

It took me over an hour.
You kept working for over an hour. Well Done.

That felt hard.
Good. Next time it will feel a bit easier.

I didn’t want to go.
Yet still you showed up!

I can’t do that.
And you never will until you try. One foot in front of the other, one step closer, one day at a time, one rep at a time.

This isn’t weakness, it’s not average, it’s more than everyone who didn’t even try or didn’t bother to show up.

Progression over perfection, better than yesterday. ⭐️⚡️✌️

If it energises, improves and/or inspires you….then go do it !!

The opposite too, if it drains you, doesn’t improve you, is uninspiring ….the less of that the better.

Do some things that excite and scare you a little too 😉
