ELF Night is still happening as normal in Battle.

Every Last Friday of the month, live music moves between five pubs in town, and yes, The Bull will still be part of it as normal.

Our karaoke session is now moving to its own monthly slot, so there’s even more reason to get a Bull night in the diary.

Join us on the first Friday of every month for karaoke with Brian, a well-known local face who has been running karaoke in Battle for years.

Starts Friday 3rd July
From around 9pm to 11pm

Come in for food first, book your table in the usual way, grab a few drinks, then stay for a sing after. Cocktails, pints, wine, good company and a microphone waiting for whoever is brave enough.

You can now book your table by:

BTFC Enjoy Golf Day

Twelve of the very best footballing golfers gathered at Wellshurst GC for the 2026 BTFC Masters Tournament.

Players from all over the club, including 1 Veteran, 3 Mens, 3 Axes, and 5 Knights, endured some challenging weather conditions as they contested an 18-hole Stableford Competition.

Goalkeeper Tom Cann saved his best for the par-3 fifth hole where he won the Nearest-the-Pin prize, whilst the trophy for Longest Drive went to Battle Knight Mike Gould with a monster tee shot on the 14th.

Strong winds and driving rain provided a testing challenge for the dozy dozen competing for this most prized accolade in the golfing calendar.

When the cards were collected and scores ratified, it was a close finish, with Sue and Vicky Reeves from the Axes each finishing joint 3rd on an excellent 35 points.

However, at the very top of the leaderboard, previous champion Glen Carrick and DoF Gary Walsh couldnt be seperated with 37 points each. Following a tense wait on the 19th hole, Walshy was awarded the very first ever Orange Jacket, narrowly winning on count back, thanks to his 21 points on the back nine, versus Carrick's 20.
.. an incredibly tight finish to a really enjoyable, if not wet, day's play, in which everyone proved to be a winner!

A massive thanks goes to Club Secretary Gary Wenham who organised the whole day which started with the statutory bacon bap, and ended with clubhouse coffees and celebratory beers.

Let's all do it again next year!!

πŸ† RESPECT AWARD WINNERS! πŸ†
Battle Town FC are delighted to announce that our Reserve Team have been crowned East Sussex Football League Respect Award Winners for the 2025/26 season!

The Respect Award is presented by the East Sussex Football League at its Annual Presentation Evening and recognises the team with the highest standards of sportsmanship and conduct throughout the season.

After every league and cup match, referees award respect marks to each team, with an average percentage score calculated across the entire campaign.
We are incredibly proud that our Reserves achieved an outstanding 93.2% average respect score, finishing top of all teams across the five divisions of the ESFL.

At Battle Town FC, we champion the values of sportsmanship, respect and fair play across all our teams. This award reflects the attitude, commitment and conduct shown by our players, management team and supporters throughout the season.

The achievement is made even more special as it marks the fourth time that Battle Town FC have won this prestigious trophy.

Congratulations to everyone involved with the Reserve Team on this fantastic accomplishment. A club can be proud of its success, but it should be even prouder of the way that success is achieved.

🧑🀍 Well done, Battle Town FC Reserves – a credit to the club and the league! 🧑🀍
