That’s a wrap on the 2025/26 season. 🔵⚫️
It wasn’t a perfect season, but every player gave everything for the badge from the first whistle to the last.
We kicked things off with success in the Summer League, bringing home the title. Built on a rock-solid defence, we overcame local rivals and some of the strongest teams in the district to finish as champions.
Although we fell short of the league title after a strong start, we secured promotion by finishing second in a highly competitive division. While silverware may have been limited this season, our growth as a club has been clear to see. We continued to support our local community and small businesses through giveaways and shoutouts, took part in charity work and fundraising events, and had players representing the club at the FOA Tournament. We look forward to building on these successes in the seasons ahead.
We may not have added more trophies to the cabinet, but reaching the Brook Butler Cup Final was a fantastic achievement. Despite a strong performance, we were narrowly beaten by a talented Drighlington side and finished as runners-up.
Our end-of-season BBQ and trophy presentation was a huge success, bringing together players, coaches, supporters, sponsors and friends for a great day in the sun. A special thank you to for the tea, .986 for the Spanish lattes, and of course IBFC’s very own chef, .akudi , for keeping everyone well fed.
