So Finn was April's Player of the Month and for the first time in our U9s he's a back to back Player of the month stealing Mays Award too.

Finn has an outstanding attitude and we've come a massive way from last season. He was great at consoling our teammates when we lost in the Blackpool semi final but we wouldn't of been there if it weren't for his amazing saves and keeping his nerves in a penalty shootout in the quarters.

Liversedge Gala again we were in two penalty shootouts in the semis and the final and as good as our penalty takers were we rely on Finn to bring it home and he did his job.

We've had the best season we've ever had and saves win games too!

He is a pleasure to coach and he really as come on since we met. I'm glad he's taking the number 1 shirt next season he fully deserves the shirt and May's Player of the Month so well done Finn 🟠⚫️🏆👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

So last night we took the Tigers to The Liversedge Cup.

Firstly I'd like to thank everyone who came to support us and it was a very late night.
We started pretty steady in a very competitive group stage with some great opponents.
8 minute games I'll add so very fast paced and not enough time to really dig deep.
We scored some pretty good goals, made some outstanding saves and held a great defensive line.
After our 5 games with 1 win, 3 draws and 1 loss we found ourselves in 4th just getting through to the semis.

The semi final

We played Laund Hill who are a fantastic team and great coaches.
We went 1-0 up thanks to Aiden who got the ball back from a rebound and he had to he composure to tuck us ahead. Unfortunately and own goal happened but no drama it happens I wasn't disappointed.
Penalties happened.

Tigers vs White rose

Battle and half and we had a barrage of shots at them in two occasions but they did well defensively and did well getting bodies back. We broke in and scored finally and I'll say there keeper is absolutely brilliant also. Unfortunately didn't last and they got one back and that put us in another penalty shootout to see who was champions.

Best game of season by far on Sunday. Against a great Ossett team. Everyone turned up today and I'm super proud of every single person.

Finn - so glad we got that clean sheet , no drama and not much to do but did everything perfect.🏆

George and Bobby - lucky to have them. The runs up and down the wings, the high line we keep and vital tackles. Both unlucky not to score.

Luca - I think it's been a tough season for Luca but these last 4 games I feel there's been progress an he bettered himself today I think the covering and positioning was great from him today and the little 1-2s he was involved in were great too.🏆

Zander,anas,Zaki - mega threats week in week out. Anas an Zak were both got the assist they owed me from last week, but all 3 of em when they take someone on and play them passes through to the striker are just fantastic. 🏆

Aiden - Zander called him where's wally because he's never in position but in all seriousness I'm glad he got some goals, and he ended up being in some great positions. 🏆

Ollie - I'm glad Ollie bagged too, he took it well and did well to get on it before burying it in corner.

Super proud of everyone today and everyone should be happy.

Brilliant game today from the tigers against a great opponent. Everyone played very well but today Bobby was something else. Solid at the back and dealt with some dangerous players. Drive down the wing taking a few on to get some shots off and they weren't bad ones either. Well done Bobby the amount of people you impressed today was unbelievable, I got so many messages. Keep it up and keep these electric performances coming 🟠🔵🏆

I know it's late but our Player of the Month is Anas.
He's absolutely balled since he joined us at the start of the season, he's goal mad and he delivers too.
It would have been a different season with out you In the team mate so keep it up and well done 🟠⚫️

Massive well done to these two today, Zander the absolute work horse, never gave up and I felt kept a dangerous player out the game and Anas who bagged 4 wonderful goals. The drive and determination from these two today was outstanding. Well done boys 🟠⚫️

It's hard for me to find words to describe Aiden with him being such a character in our team. Like if there was a trophy for interrupting me during every team talk he'd have it😂.
The guy dives in training and smiles on the floor 🤣.

In all seriousness he's showed me some real passion and energy this month and really worked hard. He's played well on the wing and upfront. Got himself a goal too but it's not just about scoring loads. It's about what he's doing off the ball too. It's a big step for him I feel showing me the passion, even on the sidelines when he was a sub.

Well done Aiden your mum would be super proud, keep it up baller 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Great performance from these 3 yesterday.

BEA - She did really well playing centre back, very strong and stood her ground.

AIDEN - Got into dangerous areas throughout the game which led him to a goal. He made some great runs down the wings.

OLLIE - Always great with a die hard attitude. Never gave up and did a solid job in defence. He himself had a few chances to score.
