Time to call it a night and get myself a wee beer.
3 western style knives roughly shaped.
For the last one I can't decide between the wood or antler handle? What do you think?
There's a ton of work left in finalising the shape of the s-guard.
I gave up on forging a wrought iron one and I chose to go with a piece of o1 tool steel.

Good afternoon everyone I hope you all are well and ready for the weekend.
Yesterday as my 33th Anniversary and hands up I must confess I forgot all about.
I want to thank my wife for her understanding and support over the last 33 years ###
Today I've been working on one of the hunters I stripped down after my epoxy blunder the day.
I've made a few changes I've ground the blade to a full flat grind. I also extended the tang by welding on another piece of o1 tool steel and threading the end.
Now all the pieces are roughly shaped now I can strip it down again and close up any gaps.

Good afternoon everyone I hope you all are well.
Today has been a disaster in my haste to get ready to go and visit Leona and the grandkids last night . While mixing my epoxy I had got distracted and must have forgotten to add the hardener to the mix.
So today I had to strip the ones that had not set.
Lucky I've managed to save them.
Unfortunately I have broken the scales for one of the neck knives lol.
I bet my dad is up in heaven laughing his ass off. Lol
