🥋 Huge congratulations to Jack! 🥋

After lots of hard work training at JKS Bathgate and JKS Scotland Honbu Dojo, Dunfermline, Jack has successfully graded to achieve his Brown + 2 White Belt 👏💪

Another big step on his Karate journey — next stop, BLACK BELT! 🖤🥋

His Dad had to sit this grading out, but hopefully he’ll be back alongside Jack for the next one! 👊

JKS Karate Bathgate has now finished for the summer holidays!

A huge thank you to all of our students and families for your hard work, dedication and support throughout the term. We hope you all have a fantastic summer break, stay safe, and enjoy some well-earned time off.

Classes return on Wednesday 12th August

Great to see Sensei’s Henry and Anne from JKS Bathgate, alongside Sensei’s Paul and Ronnie from Dunfermline JKS Honbu Dojo, continuing to keep their training sharp and standards high under the guidance of Masao Kagawa, Chief Instructor of the Japan Karate Shoto Federation (JKS).

Always a privilege to learn from one of the world’s leading Shotokan Karate instructors and continue developing the true spirit and technical excellence of JKS Karate.

Another fantastic opportunity to train with the boss, Kagawa Shihan.

Fantastic first days training covering all things kihon.

A huge thanks to Dermot Sensei for arranging and for looking after us.
