What a perfect evening on the water last night! Warm weather, calm skies, and an incredible show from nature.

Our first of two Wild Waters Festival tours.

🦫 Beavers made a star appearance (with sounds of four more eating and diving in nearby!)
✨ Swallows darting, bats swooping, and even a dazzling flash of a kingfisher!
🦢 Our two resident swans joined us in their usual graceful style
🌳 The willow moth caterpillars are very busy — some trees look like they’re the menu more than others!

Spots for next week’s Nocturnal River Safari are almost gone (just one left!), July is fully booked and we’ve got a few spaces left for the August tour.

While cleaning the jetty at Launch Point Adventures in Batheaston this afternoon this friendly swan came to see what I was doing. He stayed with me for about 40 mins and we just watched each other in silent bliss. Me cleaning the jetty and him cleaning his feathers.

A great day yesterday on the river with this family of 6.

On our family / group events the content is up to you. We can improve your paddle strokes, watch and learn about the wildlife or play fun games.

This group chose all of the above and we had great fun.

We had a wonderful two hour paddleboarding session with a family group including adults and teenagers. Roger made sure that nobody was left behind and that the games and activities on the water were fun for everyone. The initial briefing was reassuring without being too serious. The equipment was all good quality and well maintained. Roger was a fun and able leader. Would definitely recommend this.

Had a great time paddle boarding, was my first time out on the water and Roger made me feel safe and helped me to boost my confidence over the course of the session.

Fantastic activity for all the family !

Our first evening private axe throwing of the year was a great success last night.

This fun team of people had the biggest bid for our axe throwing experience at the dinner, bagged themselves a bargain and raised some cash for the wonderful charity.

Hosted at the venue and weather was perfect and made up for some of the bigger misses.

The Youth Adventure Trust is a wonderful organisation that we have been supporting and volunteering for over the last couple of years. We highly recommend you check them out and would encourage you to donate time or money. We've seen what a difference it makes first hand!
