My job allows me to meet a fantastic array of people and I’m beyond privileged to be able to train a select few.
Over the years these people have become more than clients. I genuinely think my life wouldn’t be the same without all of them in some way.
There are some special ones that inspire me, the few that are able to light up a room with just their presence.
I expect they don’t know that they do, but they should do.
I’ve never been impressed by materialism, aesthetics or numbers, what inspires me is someone’s character.
Today I learned of something I thought I’d never have to deal with. A client of mine has sadly passed away, which seems incomprehensible.
I can only imagine what her family are going through at this time.
Stanza Fitness and I will miss her spectacular spirit, I adore her as a little sister I’ve never had. Regardless of what she was going through, she was a fighter and fighters always get back up.
Clients come and go throughout your career, but Poppy will never leave my thoughts, diary or heart.
Till we box again 🥊
“I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death.”
- Leonardo da Vinci
