Here's every opportunity you have to get involved with BULB this fresher's week!

We have 4 tasters throughout the coming days, none of which require any dance experience. If you aren't sure where the rooms are, don't worry! We will post guidance on how to get to them in the coming days

We are also going to be at the sports fair, where you can meet other sports at the university (but of course come and chat to us !!)

We're super excited to meet you all this week! And don't worry if you can't make any of the tasters - you can get your first lesson for free to try out.

Throughout the year we attend multiple competitions as a club, and they are a really fun way to watch other dancers and meet people from other clubs. They are in a variety of locations, including Bath Winter Friendly which is run by our lovely events secretaries and super close to home. We also attend nationals, held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, which becomes a full weekend of Latin & Ballroom fun.

We also participate in team match at competitions, where you get to wear some of our lovely sparkly wardrobe!

We host a mock competition near the beginning of the year so you can understand more about how competitions work, become more familiar with them and see if they're for you.

If you have any questions about competitions or level finding, feel free to ask our team captains Bethan and Rohan.

Here at BULB we frequently run some fantastic socials to get to know everyone better outside of dancing.

We are always super welcoming here, so even though a fair few socials will involve drinking you never have to, and we make sure to have some options that don't involve drinking at all, if that is more your thing.

Hopefully all socials should be posted here so you know what's on, but keep an eye on the socials channel in the discord server as well, as last-minute things could pop up there!

Socials are of course optional, but we hope to see you soon!

Your go-to spot to find out how we run our lessons at BULB, and the different opportunities you have to learn.

We post a schedule with all information on the timings and rooms of each lesson every week so you don't miss anything.

For all lessons (and any dancing really) we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move in, as well as bringing water to stay hydrated!

All our Tuesday and Thursday lessons are split by level, but on Sunday's you are free to dance with anyone and it's a great way to learn other steps. Feel free to drop us a message or ask committee when you get here if you have any questions on what level you are.

The last committee member to be introduced is our promotions and communications officer, Hayley! Hi!! I'm behind all of our social media posts and communications, giving BULB the online presence it deserves 🙌

🌟 COMMITTEE INTRODUCTIONS 🌟

Next to be introduced is our wardrobe coordinator, Ana! She is responsible for our lovely competition wardrobe, sparkles and all, as well as our club kit! Ana is also the perfect person to go to if you have any questions about what shoes to get once you join.

Stay tuned through the coming days to find out about the rest of our committee for this coming year!

Of course, the best way to find out more about us is to come to our tasters in fresher's week (more info to come on those after our intros!)
