Farleigh Castle Vets MX

Returning to take the top step for 2026 after a strong P2 last year, we’re BACK with a bang, with only one position as our goal.

Rider line up stepping up for 2026….

Luke Dean - Needs no introduction, king of the 125cc round Farleigh Castle, but let’s not forget taking the MX1 & MX2 at World Vets aboard CR500 & YZF250. Luke being a team rider for us since the beginning only missed out last year due to injury.

Jamie Law - Back for 2026, after Jamie jumped in for us last year at the last minute we had to get him back for this year. Jamie needs no introduction, fresh off the back of a P2 & P1 at Hawkstone he’s ready to go.

Ben Putnam - New rider for 2026, we saw what Ben could do at Foxhills & Farleigh team race last year with a P2&3 in the same race, we spoke last year and made the plans for 26 early. Ben was also at Hawkstone sticking it to the main stayers in the British MX2 championship.

We’re excited for this last big event of the year for us. Would like to thank everyone involved in making it work!

👏🏼Team Work Makes The Dream Work👏🏼

Just a little appreciation post for the riders in HM Racing, without what these pictures show it wouldn’t happen.

First is a DNF for Rory, as soon as the bikes off the track all hands on deck to fix the issue, no bother that their own race is coming up.

Second photo is Terry House & Luke Dean who has DNF’d out of this very race, dropped his bike back and come back to cheer on Jimmy Margetson, although they’re both racing for HM Racing they were against each other in the 125cc race, but it was no matter, dropped his bike and come to cheer on Jimmy.

If we didn’t have this within are team then it wouldn’t work…. Just needed to show a little appreciation for all what our riders do!

🇧🇪Orp-Le-Grand 2026🇧🇪

First off all we want to thank everyone involved, riders, managers, mechanics, family & friends, non of this would be possible without you all.

Evo Class - We went with 2 teams, high hopes and big dreams, but luck wasn’t on are side. With 5 x DNF’s due to a mixture of bike failure & non rider fault crashes it was tough, but somehow or team England managed to get 3rd overall - Rob Holyoake, Jamie Skuse & Luke Dean. 🏆🏆
Team United Kingdom ended up P7, with all riders giving it their all, luck wasn’t on their side.

Twinshock Class - Had it tough from the get go, with Greg not being able to race, the team manager & team sponsor stepped in Eamon Cullen. The boys battled hard every race, with Matt & Terry upfront in every race & Eamon in top 6 in his 125cc class. They managed a P2 overall. 🏆🏆

Then we have the individual podiums in class!

For the final 3 man team we’re taking to Belgium Orp-Le-Grand 2026.

125cc - Luke Dean
250cc - Jamie Skuse
500cc - Rob Holyoake

We have all 3 returning riders for 2026 that are trying to put it on the top step 🏆🏆

Luke Dean - Returning for 2026 post injury after VMXDN last year and couldn’t attend. He has a point to prove and aboard the HM Racing Special Honda CR125 he’s going to be tough to beat.

Jamie Skuse - Another returning rider for 2026 after not being able to attend last year due to UK Evo clashing, this year Jamie is pushing to be on the top step again aboard his 250cc Honda.

Rob Holyoake - Returning for 2026 after he fooled everyone into thinking he was a 125cc turns out he is a real big bore 500cc rider! Mixing it with Ken De Dyker last year, is looking to do the same this aboard his 500cc Honda

So announcing our twinshock team this year…we our proud to be represented by the same team for the 3rd year in a row.

Having got a 2nd & 3rd in the previous due to mechanicals this year they’re gunning for the top spot.

Greg Hanson needs zero introduction, an absolute legend in the game, he will be aboard an 83 Honda CR125cc.

Matt Nash is essentially Mr Red Rocket, always known for dominating performances at UK Evo and many twinshock events. Also finishing 1st & 2nd in the individual 250cc twinshock class in the previous years.

Terry House again, like Greg, needs no introduction, known for constantly putting the HM Racing Maico amongst the modern Over 50 class in UK Evo & many other events in the UK. Will be aboard the Maico once again.

This year we’re taking 3 teams over to the infamous Orp Le-Grand Team Race August 30th.
AMC orp-le-grand
Teams will be announced over the coming week

First Team - United Kingdom 🇬🇧

125cc - Jimmy Margetson
250cc - Rory Merchant
500cc - GlennPhillips

This team members needs little to no introduction,

Jimmy being the 2025 125cc AMCA champion, aboard a very special Honda CR125 is going to be tough to beat.

Rory aboard the HM Racing SCT tuned CR 250 and flying in the UK Evo 500cc Evo group this year, will be at the sharp end of the action.

Glen needs no introduction, having dust up’s with Ken De Dyker last year has come back for more and we couldn’t be happier to have the Welsh Wizard on board 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
