Session 5 of the Spotters Hockey Summer Performance Academy ✅🏑
Another high-quality evening at the University of Bath focused on recognising and adapting to the different phases of the game.
Players worked on:
⚡ Fast transitions from attack to defence and defence to attack
👀 Scanning and decision-making under pressure
🏃 Creating and exploiting overloads
🛡️ Collective defending and protecting key spaces
🎯 Choosing when to attack quickly and when to retain possession
Through a variety of game-based practices and competitive challenges, players were constantly required to recognise changing game situations and execute the highly skilled actions needed for success.
Great energy, excellent effort, and some outstanding examples of players applying the learning throughout the session. 👏
