Bec is the perfect example of someone who's put the hours in, shown up to in person class to get further help and not been afraid to ask for feedback on her handstand journey which I really admire and love the WhatsApp updates she sends me!

I'm so proud of it's unreal ❤️

She came to me wanting to improve handstands and to get away from the wall so we went to free standing kick ups, different drills learnt from Handstand Class and still using the wall for just basic drills like chest to wall

You can see how her control, stability and strength has improved in a short amount of time and I've got no doubt she's gonna be onto a 10 second hold soon!

Not forgetting that confidence has dramatically improved and I know how scary it is to go from kicking up to a wall then have the wall taken away from you!

Long time without regular updates on Facebook!

We are still very much active and working away just not always present online

We have now updated the name to Handstands and Calisthenics in Bath as myself Bryony has been mostly focusing on helping people how to handstand over the past two years

We had our first big workshop last month and after such great success we want to do more soon

Handstand Workshop in Bath

Saturday 17th September
11am-3pm
Location: St Matt's Church, Widcombe

An intensive workshop aimed for people who have built in some balance but want to increase endurance and work on alignment plus shapes as well as for people who are *stuck* on the wall and want to build confidence in freestanding handstands

Myself and Ed Marshall (chiropractor, yoga teacher and movement specialist) will be leading this workshop together

We will be focusing on flexibility, breath work, joint health, how to prepare the body efficiently for handstands as well as many other aspects I have learnt along the way that have helped me and my students

***Bryony & Raphaela Present Freedom of Movement Workshop!***

With both teachers experience & knowledge combined we will be bringing you a workshop to remember! Bryony will be leading handstands and movement while Raphaela will lead hula hoop and flexibility

Expect an exciting double act performance from us both! 🥳

When: Friday 10th December at 6.15pm until 9pm
Where: Oriel Hall in Larkhall, Bath

New Class Announcement!

🛠️ Foundations 🛠️

This class will be working through a 6 week programme to help you build the foundations of working up to higher level skills

Most programmes are designed to make you look good but they don't look at conditioning your body into the control, awareness and technical understanding it actually needs

Our students look good, feel confident and can most certainly move well too 😊

We will focus on Mobility, Flexibility, Shoulder Health and how to maximise your full potential to unlock skills for handstands, pull ups and anything else that may involve rings, bar or aerial equipment!

Come and join The Upside Down Tribe for an exciting new class bright and early 6.45am-7.30am every Wednesday starting from 20th October

It's been a quiet week on the business side of things, classes have been super low in numbers and not seen so many of my favourite faces! 🙃

I could probably sit here and pretend like business is always booming but that isn't reality! 😹

August is always a quiet month for most PTs and gyms but this one's been particularly quiet, I imagine with being able to go out again it's been quite exciting for a lot of people 🤣

I've been busy still filling in those gaps in quiet times, making sure my admin is up to scratch, doing all the jobs I usually don't have time for and so on whilst enjoying the extra break 😎

If you're into the whole supporting small businesses thing like I am then please remember to always help us little people out by sharing our posts, being interactive, tagging us in stuff that helps us out on social media. It's not always about bringing in new business but it's nice to feel supported, it always goes a long way and we're always very grateful! 🌹

Anyway I'm getting ready for the open day tomorrow and these goody bags are looking SO GOOOOD! 🛍️
