I’m BACKKKKKKK! (I never really left but definitely feeling it more now! ) 🤩

wowzers what a few months!! I talk a good talk, but just to keep things real, parenting 2 amazing autistic teenagers, running a business, going though a divorce after 24 years and trying to run a home and keep 2 pets alive has been a lot!! ( let’s not mention the roof leaks either!)

They say life only throws at you what you can handle, and honestly i’m privileged to say i’ve grabbed it all with both (boxing glove ) hands and am ready for the next chapter.

Thank you to my amazing clients for being as awesome as always and continuing to inspire me as you show up with each workout, and allowing me some extra time off when I need it ( zeez these kids seem to need me so much more right now!) I’m a worker so time off doesn’t sit well with me 🙈 but as you all know, I keep things real, so I can show up authenticity to encourage you all to do the same back.

Here’s to 2026. It’s the year of the horse, where we gallop forward. ❤️

If you are going through something similar right now, my only advice is to just keep being yourself, show up with integrity and love everyone around you, keep being authentic and stay true to your own path and values, that’s all that really matters. Everything else is just noise!

HI 👋🏻 i’ve been adding more bits to the grid and thought it had been a while since I introduced myself.

I have been running a Ladies Personal Training Studio in a beautiful private location of Lansdown Bath for over 14 years now. (wow that long!) When I first qualified I was the only Personal Training in the Bath area to train exclusively ladies and I opened originally by the name of ‘Bath Yummy Mummies ‘ then over time lovingly shortened to ‘BYM Fitness.’ AHHH Memories!

As the years went on (very very busily!) I realised I needed to scale right down to meet the increasing needs of my wonderful teenage kids who both have autism and a complicated form of epilepsy. I honestly feel the kids have made me grow as a person beyond measure, they are truly amazing. I’m also an expert on EHCPs 🤦‍♀️

Now I train under my name - CW.PTBATH and it’s just me working at the studio designing programmes, training ladies and generally making sure I can meet the needs of my incredible clients.

I absolutely love my job. I find it almost as exciting as my clients when goals are met and then exceeded. I’m passionate about keeping women strong and strength training is an absolute non negotiable of mine for all clients. Train smarter not harder! 💪

Other bits of info about me is that i’m 44 (peri- menopause symptoms? i hear ya!) have a crazy cocker spaniel called Daisy, who often thinks she is my personal stalker. I’ve also recently added a cat called Rodney to the pack, we sometimes call him Dave ( if you know you know)

Alongside my family and business, I also am so lucky to have a strong friendship group ❤️, love spinning and tennis (the later of which is a working progress!), and running.

I also love a good kitchen dance off, longs walks and a good podcast, and am a total hugger.

So if you are looking for an experienced personal trainer, who’s walked the walk and knows her stuff then i’m your girl.

To all my amazing clients - you are all super stars. Thanks for the love and support during the past few crazy months. It’s certainly been a rollercoaster navigating my teens, work and sleep deprivation, and finding my feet solo parenting.

As women we juggle so much and how we show up and support each other is such a lifeline.

I think we are all bloody amazing! and I love to be surrounded by strong, determined, wonderful clients 🫶🏻

I’m hoping for calmer seas, meantime your understanding is appreciated so much. xx

You are about to get inundated with new year’s resolutions, gym memberships and pressure to start the new year by smashing out workouts and reducing what you’re eating.

THINK SMART! don’t be easily led by the hard sale and promises of fast results. Results that last take time, dedication and knowledge.

My promise to all my clients going in to the new year (and as always) is that I will make you accountable for how you PRIORITISE yourself and SHOW UP every darn day for good health, wellbeing, and your personal goals.

You look after yourself for the life you want to live not the outfits you want to squeeze into. I promise to give you all the tools and knowledge to get you to make your health your best yet.

I have a few spaces for personal training this year. If you want someone who is going to look at the bigger picture and force you to prioritise longevity and strength then i’m your girl.

Heading into my third sober christmas with more glow, growth, emotions, migraines, sleepless nights, clarity, gratitude, responsibilities, muscle mass, and wobbly bits.

The twists and turns of life’s crazy rollercoaster.

It’s ok to be super positive and happy, and it’s ok to feel overwhelmed and stressed. It’s MORE than ok for it to change like the tides. Just keep showing up and doing your best.

So grateful as always to feel in control of my health and fitness when my day to day feels like a big old whirlwind most of the time.

I’m here for it. With 2025 just around the corner i’m making myself this little promise to listen to that little voice inside a bit more and say yes to more things that make me happy.
