Durham University Polo Club offers an accessible and affordable way of playing polo. No prior experience is necessary to be a member, although riders will find it slightly easier to begin with. Lessons start at only £30 for an hour, which includes horse hire and we play at the White Rose Polo Club in York and the Beverley Polo Club just outside Hull. We have teams and lessons for different levels

of players, and you do not need your own horse, as they can be hired for both training and matches. We have had great success in the past, winning the National Finals many times- although we welcome members who do not wish to compete, and even members who wish to join just for the socials. We are a sociable and inclusive bunch, so drop us a message if you are interested in joining.

We are excited to announce this year’s summer invitational will be held at Dart Polo Club from the 30th - 31st May!

It is looking like it will be a great weekend of play, welcoming back alumni, alongside what is set to be an exciting exhibition game!

We also welcome you to our summer party with dinner, drinks, cocktails and a live band!

Friends and family are welcome throughout the whole weekend!

We sent two Novice teams down to Oxford on the 19th of November to play in their annual Christmas Tournament. Despite some very cold weather, our teams played excellently with wins against RHU and Oxford in the Lower Novice and Upper Novice respectively. Well done all!!
