A few weeks ago our club competed at the 2025 Tae kwon-Do World Championships in Glasgow — an incredible and inspiring experience.

We joined martial artists from across the world, supported each other, gained valuable experience, and proudly brought home a bronze medal after some hard-fought sparring.

Tae kwon-Do is not just kicks and patterns — it is about community, personal growth, and unforgettable moments. Whether you are 5 or 50, a complete beginner or returning to martial arts, there is a place for you here.

Great news.

Our NEW thatcham club opens on Tuesday 10th September 6-7pm at the Francis Baily School.

It’s 20+ years since I opened that club originally with mr Richard Waters a very talented Black Belt.

Thatcham has been dormant effectively closed and I am going to rise it up like a phoenix with the help of some amazing students featuring Peter Fisher our new Thatcham assistant instructor.
So watch this space as we post loads of pictures and and encourage lots of new students to join.

Thatcham is BACK!

Fantastic Demo at the Oakley Village fair today! Many Thanks to the Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane Cllr Dan Putty for joining in the TKD spirit and holding the boards for the Tigers 🐯.
It was a jaw dropping rollercoaster of kicks, punches, fighting and destruction. I don’t think we have done so much in 20 minutes before! The Students lifted the crowd. They clapped and cheered as students broke boards, showed how to defend themselves and scared everyone with this high octane performance. I’ve not seen a better demo! Can I just thank you all and your parents for supporting you and our club. Basingstoke is the best!
