A huge thank you to everyone who made yesterday’s Overton Youth Football presentations such a brilliant day for the club.

Special thanks to Overton Radio for hosting the day, Overton United football club (Gary Savory and Damo Trendall) for running the bar, and to Lee Verney and the U13 parents for putting on an amazing BBQ. Big thanks also to Turners Butchers for supplying the meat, Gaynor at The Village Refillery, and Sonny Jim’s Ice Cream for keeping everyone fed and refreshed throughout the day.

And most importantly, a heartfelt thank you to Michael Taylor, who has now stepped down after 8 years of loyal service as club chairman. His dedication and hard work have helped grow the club into what it is today, and we are all incredibly proud to be part of it.

⚽🏆 We’re very much looking forward to hosting our End of Season Presentations this Sunday!

As always, our players will gather with their teammates for team photos before heading over to the awards area with their coaches and managers. Each team will reflect on some of their successes from the season before medals and trophies are presented to celebrate the exceptional growth, attitude, commitment and performances shown by our OYFC players throughout the year.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to recognise the hard work and achievements of every player and to come together as a club to celebrate another memorable season.

There will be food and a bar available throughout the day, so why not make an afternoon of it? Bring a picnic blanket, relax with friends and family, and enjoy the celebrations.

We can’t wait to see everyone there! 💙🤍⚽

A roasting second and final day of football ☀️☀️for the boys with both teams cheering each other on over the last couple of games. Back to the Park to swim in the lake and pool to cool off. Great club spirit shown by both teams during the tournament…made the club proud!
