🎉🎉CRACKING WIN this evening for Charlie and Derek in the County Men's Pairs 🎉🎉

Playing Alfie Simmons and Gary Taylor of Cove, Charlie and Derek took the game by just one shot after an extra end....WHAT A GAME!! 🙌

They now progress to the area semi-final, where they will play another Cove pair, Carl Taylor & Chris Cranham.

✨ Thursday afternoons at Basingstoke Town Bowling Club are all about the Stan Hardman, & today was another WOW Thursday for the squad!✨

Bowling against our friends and fellow bowlers of Howard Park Bowls Club, this game brought our first ever 7 points-0 (+36 Shots) against this team 🔥

Played, as always, in great spirit, there was a brilliant comeback by Bill, Lorraine and Dave G who pulled 11 shots on last 4 ends to grab a 21-16 victory on their rink 💥, with Paula D and Rosemary providing the all important support rinkside, telling Billy what to do! 🤣

The game on the adjacent rink included a hot shot for Frank, Paula and Maryann! 🔥🔥

💪 Martin, Del and Anita also fought hard all afternoon for their win too. 👏👏

A fitting end to the first half of our season. What a squad !

🌟 Thornberry Trophy (County Championship):

A huge congratulations to our ladies, who produced a superb performance to defeat Farnborough Gate by an impressive 46–27 shots. 👏💙

A fantastic team effort and a brilliant result in this county competition. Well done, ladies! 💛🤍

🔥 B.H. Men’s Fours: Congratulations to :

🏆 Malc, Joe, Frank & Bill with an excellent win against Reece Graham’s four from Alton Social.

🏆 Martin M, Matthew, Derek & Trevor who also secured a fantastic victory over a strong Cove four.

Congratulations to Tracy & Paula, who secured a win in the NHWBA Pairs against a pair from Old Basing. 💙🤍💛

🌟 National O60's Ladies Singles :
Well done to Anita, who progressed with a victory in the Area Quarter Final yesterday morning. Unfortunately, her opponent was fellow Basingstoke Town player, Rachel, but this guaranteed the club a place in the next round. Congratulations to both ladies on reaching this stage of the competition, and the best of luck to Anita in the next round . 🌟👏

💪 Club Two Fours:
Despite a determined effort this morning, our Club Two Fours side were defeated by Alton on an extra end. Keep your heads high!. 💙

👏 Bowls Hampshire U25 Pairs:
It was a very narrow defeat by just one shot, for Charlie & Zach who were playing a pair from Cove Bowling Club this morning. Sounds like a quality game... Well done lads.. You did yourselves, and us, proud!! ✨

🏆 National Mixed Pairs:
A huge congratulations to Anita & Martin C, who recorded an excellent win this evening to book their place in the Area Semi-Final of the National Mixed Pairs! 🎉💛💙

The club continues to be represented brilliantly across local, county and national competitions, and we’re incredibly proud of everyone! 💙🤍💛

🔵🌟Basingstoke Town Bowling Club – Tuesday Triumphs! 🌟🟡

What a fantastic evening for Basingstoke Town Bowling Club, with victories in five matches on Tuesday night! 👏🏆

At 6pm, the club enjoyed a clean sweep across the board:

In the County Singles :
🟢 Ian secured an excellent win against Ashley Nethercliffe of Alton Social.
🟢 Adam followed up with a strong performance, defeating John Blair, of Alton.

🟢 The Ladies League Team celebrated their first win of the season, producing a superb result against Howard Park Swallows. Congratulations to all involved! 🌟👏

In the BDBA Singles:
🟢Malc recorded an impressive victory over Gary Johnson of Alton Social.

🟢 Martin M completed a perfect evening with another excellent win. Well done also to Steve,who came second on this occasion.

It was a tremendous night for the club, with almost every Basingstoke Town player and team emerging victorious. 💪🔥

While there was disappointment on Monday evening as Anita and Paula bowed out of the County Singles competition, alongside Ian, whose bid to progress in the County 2 Wood Singles came to an end, all three deserve great credit for competing for the club at this level. 🌟

Congratulations to all of Tuesday’s winners, and special mention once again to the Ladies League Team on their breakthrough victory of the season. 🎉🍾 Here’s hoping it’s the first of many!
