π MONDAY MOTIVATION π
And what better way to MOTIVATE our students than with π¨π¨π¨ GRADING NEWS π¨π¨π¨
π€ Obviously the last quarter of 2023 didn't quite go as planned, with paternity leave and pneumonia limiting the amount sessions we were able to put on and impacting the proposed grading at the end of the year.
πͺπΌ However, all of our students have come to back with the bit between their teeth and have been working hard to maintain their levels for rearranged gradings and guess what? We can now confirm we have scheduled gradings for 30/01/2024 and 31/01/2024 π
π This will be a bumper grading with the majority of the club grading, so top form is required for the next couple of weeks π
π΄π‘π π’π€ There will be 9th Kyu (Red Belt), 8th Kyu (Yellow Belt), 7th Kyu (Orange Belt) gradings at our Oakley class on 30/01/2024 and 9th Kyu (Red Belt), 8th Kyu (Yellow Belt), 6th Kyu (Green Belt) and 3rd Kyu (Brown Belt) at our Chineham class on 31/01/2024.Β
π Here's a few key things to remember for those that are grading:
π§ Concentrate - keep your eye on that next belt prize! Don't worry about what others are doing, just focus on your own techniques.
πͺ Maintain strong stances throughout - don't fidget, play with your belt, look around the room etc., remain focused.
π§ Do the basics well - we'd rather you did the technique slower but correctly, than rush it and risk the technique not being up to your usual standard.
π― Aim for correct targets - remember to picture a mirror image of yourself in front of you, that you are imagining fighting.
π And finally, be CONFIDENT and RELAX - we know what you're capable of, we know you can do the techniques, so don't overthink it! We just want you to come out full of determination and show us just how good you are π
π Tuesday:
π Infant Class - 5:30PM-6:30PM
π Junior Class - 6:30PM-7:30PM
π Senior Class - 7:30PM-8:30PM
