I know, it's miserable outside, I know you don't want to go for a walk but hear me out.. You're stuck indoors, studying, working from home, looking after the kids, you've not moved much but you feel tired and a bit low in mood
You're not alone. We all get days like this, but how can we help ourselves feel better? One scientifically proven way is - πππ§ π’π¨π§π¦πππ! πΏπ
During summer, this is easy. Its warm, we get a tan (well, most of the population - unless you're as fair skinned as meπ
)
During the winter we have to consider other benefits such as the affect it hasnon mental wellbeing..
If you struggle with feeling overwhelmed or stressed, getting outside can really help to put things into perspective π― It gives you a break from screens, the fresh air gives you mental clarity and you get some exercise in (win, win, win!! π)
Take 20 minutes and see how you feel after. I GUARANTEE you won't feel worse.
Try to focus on your surroundings and appreciate the small things such as the birds singing or the sunset. Alternatively, stick on a podcast or your favourite playlist and zone out for a bit π§
