AFC Barwell are a community charter standard football club operating in the Barwell & Earl Shilton Area, offering football coaching and matches to around 300 children, both girls and boys, between the ages of 3 and 18 years old. Through the provision of football we offer young people the opportunity to gain the skill of teamwork and improve their fitness.Our teams play in matches at weekends and t

rain twice a week.Our aim is to improve the ability of all children and create an opportunity for them to learn in a safe and enjoyable environment. AFC Barwell's new home for 2013 is a £700,000 state of the art sports complex located at Dovecote Way, Barwell. Our new club ground has one of the most modern and well equipped club houses and newly constructed playing fields which will provide some of the best playing surfaces found anywhere in leicestershire.This new complex is a fantastic asset, allowing AFC Barwell to provide the highest standards possible. Clubs must provide qualified coaches, first aiders and child protection officers.At AFC Barwell we have an excellent array of F.A trained and qualified coaches from Levels 1 to 3 along with FUTSAL qualified coaches.

Do you have a mini footballer in your house ?

Starting on the 22nd of June our new mini dribbler sessions will be every Monday 6pm to 7pm at Heath Lane Academy in Earl Shilton.

Our fun football and movement sessions are delivered by FA Licenced and fully DBS checked early years coaches and are aimed at 3 to 5 year old children focusing on balance, co ordination, and social skills.

AFC BARWELL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 2026
This is a reminder that the annual general meeting of AFC BARWELL FA CHARTER STANDARD COMMUNITY FOOTBALL CLUB (REGISTERED CHARITY 1158404)will take place Sunday evening 14th June 2026 at the Pavilion, Dovecote Way in Barwell. 5pm Start

As per our constitution, current committee members will resign their positions and posts for the club year 26-27 will be elected at this meeting.

AFC Barwell is YOUR club, everyone is welcome to attend. Make sure you have your say in how the club is organised for the next 12 months. We would encourage all Parents, Carers and current volunteers to get involved as this is your chance to help shape the club moving forward.You are all club members, when your child joins AFC Barwell so do you.
