The Fun tournament lived up to its name, some happy, smiling, tired faces. We had two events - one for the adults and one for the children.

Matches were closely contested in all groups and the at the sharp end the ranking event Four players made it to the top group, Chris Smith, Grant Schlisner, Cal Robertson and Allan Macdonald. Cal came out on top of a hard fought group and took the number one slot for the event.

In the children’s event the final was played on the front table and was enjoyed by all.

The event takes place tomorrow morning start of play 10:30 am. If you haven’t entered drop us a message - we might be able to accomodate you.

On Monday Night a short meeting resulted in a consensus to run a table tennis league over the winter months. It is planned that the league will be played with teams of 2 people which will keep matches relatively short.

Matches would be played on a Wednesday or Thursday evening (to be decided) at Barvas and Brue Community Centre.

Teams can be entered by players if they have found a partner for the event or names can be added to a list held by Ken Macleod from which partnerships can be formed.
