Calling all students in Years 7 to 9 – want to learn new skills, have fun, and get a taste of Rugby League? Join the Hull FC Rugby League Skills Camp this May Half Term!

We are extremely saddened to hear about the recent incidents where disabled users of our facility have been unable to park in designated spaces due to the inconsiderate actions of others. We stand in full support of Barton Inclusive Football Club and their members.

The work BIFC does to provide accessible, inclusive opportunities in sport is invaluable, and no player, volunteer, or visitor should ever feel unsafe, disrespected, or excluded when attending their sessions.

We are fully committed to doing everything we can to help resolve these issues and to ensure that accessible parking bays are used appropriately and respectfully at all times. Baysgarth Sports Village must be a safe and welcoming space for everyone, and we will continue to work alongside the club to uphold this standard.

We echo BIFC’s message: accessibility is a right, not a privilege. Let’s all play our part in challenging unacceptable behaviour and making our community a truly inclusive place.

MORNING 🌅

A FEW CHANGES FOR MAY THROUGH TO THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS !

I AM VERY LUCKY WITH MY VENUE AT BAYSGARTH SCHOOL AND NOT ONLY DO I HAVE A GREAT GYM/STUDIO AND EQUIPMENT I ALSO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DELIVER MY CLASSES IN A FEW DIFFERENT ROOMS OR OUTSIDE!

BAYSGARTH IS A SCHOOL SO THIS TIME OF THE YEAR IS EXAMS UNTIL MIDDLE OF JULY WERE THEY NOW FILL UP THE WHOLE GYM SPORTS HALL.

THIS IS WHEN I TAKE MY CLASSES OUTSIDE OR IF THE WEATHER ISNT VERY GOOD WE WILL USE THE DANCE STUDIO.

I HAVE 3 NETBALL PITCHES FOR MY OUTSIDE FIIT HIIT CLASSES AND UNDERCOVER AREA WITH MUSIC 🎶

PLEASE CAN YOU BRING YOUR OWN MAT AND EITHER KBELL OR FREE WEIGHTS (I DO HAVE LOTS IF YOU NEED TO BORROW BUT PLEASE CAN YOU MESSAGE ME TO BRING )

EVENTS WILL BE DONE WEEKLY ON FACEBOOK WITH UPDATES.

Why not try something new in 2025? Yoga classes taught by Rachel Middleton of Anatomicasana are now at Baysgarth Sports Village Rachel has taught yoga of various styles for over 20 years, and has specialised in teaching anatomy to yoga teachers. Until recently, she was Teaching Fellow in Anatomy at Hull York Medical School. As a result, Rachel's yoga classes emphasise anatomical detail, alignment and injury prevention/management.

Vinyasa classes feature flowing sequences of poses linked together with breath. Gentle classes are slower-paced. They feature breathing exercises alongside strengthening and mobilising yoga poses. Both are suitable for beginners and can be adapted for certain injuries. The QR code attached can be used to contact Rachel with any yoga-related queries.

Classes take place on Tuesdays and Fridays in the Dance Studio.

Sessions will be hosted by experienced Yoga instructor Rachel Middleton and will run from the Dance studio from 6-7pm. Sessions are £4.50 for students and £7.50 for adults. BARTON UTD LADIES ARE BACK TO IT ⚽️💙

We were delighted to see a mixture of old and new faces to our first training session of the summer.

A great session to dust of the cobwebs and have some fun and laughs. Thanks to Bob, Phil and Tim.

If you are interested in getting involved, now is the perfect time. We are starting to build our squad ready for the 24/25 season which will begin late August/early September.

Open training continues next Wednesday 630-8pm at Baysgarth Park (outside the leisure centre)
