Hello everyone, I haven't been here for a while. I have some exciting news. I am opening a physio clinic in Barton under Needwood Bridge 38 Physiotherapy at Errisbeg House and plan to run some small Pilates classes - max 7 per class. See I'm acturally quite nice to you guys - It's a shame I'm stopping as I might have inflicted a few of these on you. It's nice to see a video where people are not only demonstrating the exercises but actually doing (most of it) with really good technique.

1. Hip pops for gluteal activation

I think it is fair to say we are training all these muscle groups well in our Pilates for cyclists. All those squats, static and dynamic lunges and core work will be paying off on the bike!

Take a detailed look at which muscles apply power during the phases of your pedal stroke. Then learn how to build those muscles to help you ride faster and stay injury free.

Its been a while since I gave you an exercises to do.

This is not one for beginners unless you already have a good level of strength in your upper body and trunk.

Exercises: Leg pull in prone level 1 and 2.

any back or neck pain don't attempt this exercise.

There are 2 places available in the Monday 9.15am class at Fradley starting next term.

Suitable for all levels as the class can be adapted to suit beginners to intermediates.
