Millwood Bowls Club Barry Millwood Bowling Club was founded in 1990. The club has a well-maintained green, a licensed clubhouse and a good-sized public car park adjoining the club.

We welcome new members at any time during the year, both playing and social.

Yesterday we held our Bank Holiday Spoons followed by a BBQ.

Today we travelled out of town to be hosted by Ystrad Mynach Bowls Club.

The weather was glorious and all rinks had an enjoyable and competitive games. Sadly Millwood came away with an overall score sadly to lose the match.

We thank Ystrad Mynach Bowls Club for their hospitality, friendship and refreshments following the game .

On Wednesday Millwood Bowls Club hosted the prestigious annual county game with Glamorgan Ladies taking on Herefordshire.
The sun was shining, birdsong in all its glory and the green running like butter!
Everyone enjoyed their day and team Millwood, today swapping bowling shoes for restaurateur skills pulled off the most delicious 2 course meal of Lasagne garlic bread and salad followed by brioche raspberry & white chocolate pud with cremè anglaise with panache!!
The many compliments that followed were soaked up by our class team of volunteers headed by top Chef, class bowler and fab friend of mine Matt Beck who pulled off his impersonations of Gordon Ramsey to a T !!!
( in more ways than one!!! 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰💖)
