Great to see the courts busy with members enjoying some social tennis in the sunshine.

A special thank you to from for joining us this morning and taking the time to chat with us about the club and our plans for the future. We really appreciate your support and interest in what we’re building at BATC.

A warm and sunny afternoon welcomed us to Barry Athletic Tennis Club as we hosted in today’s league fixture.

Despite a determined effort and some closely contested matches, we couldn’t quite overcome a very well-organised and strong Llantwit side. Credit to our opponents, who played some excellent tennis throughout the afternoon.

A huge thank you to all who came along and enjoyed a fantastic day of tennis in great conditions.

We wish the very best for the remainder of the season and look forward to meeting again on court in the future 🎾

Another excellent turnout for our Sunday Social today. It’s fantastic to see our courts so busy week after week and so many members getting involved.

Unfortunately, our scheduled match against was cancelled due to the forecast this afternoon, but the morning session certainly made up for it with some brilliant tennis and plenty of laughs.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard on a number of projects to help move the club forward. We aren’t quite ready to reveal everything just yet, but trust us when we say there’s plenty to be excited about. We hope to share with our members and the wider community in the coming weeks.

🎾 A great turnout for our cloudy Social Sunday this morning, with plenty of doubles action across the courts.

We’re also pleased to have moved the Nigel Robertson memorial bench courtside. Previously located in the clubhouse, it now has the best seat in the house overlooking the tennis. Nigel was a tremendous servant to Barry Athletic, and we think he would have approved of being able to watch all the action unfold.

Inside the clubhouse, we’ve also installed a new TV as the first step in a series of clubhouse improvements ahead of the summer season. We can’t wait to welcome members in to enjoy the tennis together this summer!

Committee members Richie and Evo popped over to Penarth Windsor today to take part in a fantastic Yonex demo event, coordinated by Rob from Tennis Squad 🎾

As well as getting involved in a coaching clinic and sampling the latest MUSE range, it was a great opportunity to learn more about the brand and local demo/retail links. We’re pleased to announce that a wider Yonex demo day will be coming to Barry Athletic later this season 😊
