🏆 Cardiff & District League – Presentation Evening 25/26🏆

A huge congratulations to our A Team Captain, Erin Murray, on taking home Division 7 Player of the Season, and to our Head Coach, Emily on being awarded Division 8 Umpire of the Season 👏🏻

Erin is a phenomenal player, captain of our A team and has become an integral part of the club. We often joke about the frequency of her POM awards, but that consistency is a reflection of the standard she performs at week in, week out. Your development this season has not gone unnoticed and we’re excited to continue watching you grow both on and off the court as a coach. Congratulations on a thoroughly deserved award 🫶🏻

For a club completely new to the Cardiff & District League this season, it’s incredibly special to see the commitment, effort and talent within our club already being recognised, as well as the performances both teams have produced throughout the year.

A strong all-round performance from our Vale Vipers C team last night. A great example of how the work everyone has been putting in over the past few months in training and matches is coming together on court.

Excellent communication in defence, improved feeds into the circle, and a consistent presence in attack helped secure the win. After a previous loss of 28 - 8, this was an incredible turnaround and it was lush to see this performance build across the quarters of the game. Well done gals👏🏼

When the warm-up turns into a full sound effects performance 😭👟

(Sound ON for the squeakiest scream you’ll ever hear and bonus points if you can guess which one it is)

All jokes aside, great session working on physicality and taking on contact to make decisive attacking movements towards ball. A massive thanks to and for leading us through warm ups an fitness circuits it’s greatly appreciated.

A great game from everyone in Vale Vipers A this week with high shooting stats, turnovers, forced errors and successful 1st phase to 3rd phase ball. The girls created and maintained great connections on court for the full 60 minutes and achieved their first 60 points of the season.

💚 International Women’s Day 2026 💚

This International Women’s Day we are celebrating the women who make our club what it is. What started as a small group of women who blindly put their faith in myself and Hols has grown into a strong community that shows up and out every week, no matter how they’re feeling.

We appreciate each and every one of you, and watching everyone grow and develop has been nothing short of amazing.

To the women who bring the support, the teamwork, the trevs, the questions, the uncontrollable laughter and the effort you put in for yourselves, your teammates, and the club - thank you 🫶🏻

Last week we finished up our first half of the season at C and D league with our final matches for Vale Vipers C and Vale Vipers B.

VVC smashed their performance last week. Displaying some of their best netball to date and taking their second win of the season as a new team. Well done ladies🔥

An amazing end of season Christmas session ran by some of our A team members and - who absolutely smashed it out the park. Super grateful for everyone showing up and showing out at Colcot Sports Centre at 8pm on a Monday night dressed in Reindeer, Santa, Elves and Snowmen costumes even if we did look absolutely mad.
