The 2026/27 netball league starts today, with all three Vale Vipers teams taking to the court for their first games of the season.

🏐🐍 Vale Vipers 2026/2027 Teams 🐍🏐

Introducing our three Vale Vipers teams for the 2026/27 season. There’s been plenty of movement and some new combinations across the squads, and we’re looking forward to seeing how everyone settles in and what they can bring to the season ahead.

Alongside the new team structures, we also have some new leadership combinations:

Vale Vipers A

After a successful first year in the Cardiff & District League for all three teams, we’re excited to build on that foundation and see what the 2026/27 season brings.

💚🏆 Viper of the Year – Millie Horne 2025/2026 🏆💚

Millie has had nothing short of an incredible season. We’ve watched her truly come into her own, developing her own unique style of play while making a huge impact all over the court. Her attitude, work ethic and improvements have been outstanding, and she has been an absolute joy to coach and share the court with.

As if being Viper of the Year wasn’t enough, Millie also took home the Players’ Player and Most Improved awards, an incredible achievement that reflects the impact she’s had both individually and as a teammate.

We’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished this season, Mils, and we can’t wait to see what you achieve in the year ahead.

Awarded to the player who always brings positivity on and off court, supports their teammates be it quietly or loudly and puts the teams needs up their with their own. Always my favourite type of player to coach and to have on the bench (even if it is not often) thank you 🫶🏻

It recognises a player whose performances, attitude, and contribution to the team have stood out throughout the season. 🏐🐍 Vale Vipers Presentation 2025/2026 🐍🏐

We celebrated our end-of-season awards over the weekend, and what an incredible season it’s been.

This year has seen us make the jump from the A470 League to the Cardiff & District League, grow from two teams to three, and welcome so many new members who have become an integral part of every aspect of our club. We’ve also watched our coaching team grow from just two coaches to an amazing team of five, including coaches who have come through our very own club.

I think it’s fair to say this season has been nothing short of incredible. We’re so proud of everything all three teams have achieved, both on and off the court and we are forever grateful to everyone who turns up week after week, gives their all, and puts their loyalty and trust into the club.

Thank you to every single one of you for making this such a memorable year. Our hearts are definitely full, and we can’t wait to see what next season brings. 🫶🏻

A huge thank you to Academy and Floral Belles for helping make our presentation evening functional every year and for always putting up with us (I’m really sorry about the flute playing 🪈).
