It doesn't seem like 5 minutes ago that we started our summer campaign down the river trying find an elusive river Carp after a bit of closed season pre baiting, unfortunately the carp gods didn't shine on us on the river and the powers that be forced us to change our plans and head to one of our favourite still waters to finish our weekend....

Great food 😋 great company 👍 and a reward of seeing a great friend catch a beautiful carp just as we were about to leave topped off a great start to the summer ☀️ 😄

With the weather definitely on the turn our thoughts are turning to the predators but I've got to say....I'm really a fancying some winter carping this year too!!

Well, it's been a while in coming... But we finally got out to do some fishing with a couple of splendid chaps at a lovely Fishery up near the humber.

The weather wasn't in our favour but after a walk round and picking our swims I'm happy to say that each swim we chose did bites and we had a great laugh and some cracking food along the way, is there a better way to spend some time?! We think not 😎

A few shots from a couple of weeks ago, honestly thought we would have some action but it just didn't happen, we tried different baits, different presentations, different areas of the lake, even had zigs out when saw a few fish cruising past us.... Was still a gorgeous day to be out though spending time with my little (not so little) mate ❤️❤️😁😎🐒
