120 gents took part in the Kay Morrison and Jackie Evans Memorial Trophy today in ideal conditions. Congratulations to long-standing member, Neil Baines, on winning with a great score of 71 - 6 = 66. Neil can be seen in the photo with our Club Captain, Alan Ross, as well as Kay and Jackie's family members.

A double header weekend with the Ross Trophy on Saturday and the Rotary Open on Sunday. Both competitions were well attended with 131 playing on Saturday and 136 taking part on Sunday. Congratulations to all prize winners. Barrow handed over a cheque for £1,200 to the Rotary Club which will be put to a good use with all their local charity work.

131 gents played in the 1st Captain's Qualifying and Fisher Bowl today in, for the first time this year, fairly calm conditions. Congratulations to all prizewinners but especially Jaime Knight with an exceptional score of 73 - 10 = 63.

Huge congratulations to Florence Martindale and Niamh Carruthers on their fantastic performances in the Ladies County Championship this week. Both girls played some excellent golf throughout the competition and represented the club superbly progressing through the 36 holes into the knockout stage. ⛳👏
A special mention goes to Florence as she won the Girls County Championship and has progressed to this weekend’s semi-final. We would like to wish her the very best of luck and will all be keeping our fingers crossed for a place in the final! 🤞🏆
