So today is the day - Big Ted's retirement day! He's worked for Blackshaws since the 1970's so we think it's about time he has a well deserved rest!

Stay tuned to find out his retirement plans and who knows, you may be able to see him somewhere else in Barrow very soon!

But for now, he's hanging up his tools, packing up his suitcase, and leaving Blackshaws!

We are still open but have sold all our bikes 🚲

Now Big Ted has a temporary new 🏑 in Barrow Market Hall next to The Mobile Man. Entrance from Duke Street or in the Market itself.

All bikes 🚲 reserved for Christmas πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸΌ are safe and without any damage - don't worry folks, Santa Ted won't let you down! πŸ§ΈπŸŽ…πŸΌ

For now, we are without a phone line ☎️ and payments are cash only as we don't have a card machine πŸ’·
