⚽🌟 MINIS ON THE MEADOW! 🌟⚽

Sunday morning = football morning! 🙌

Our Minis on the Meadow sessions are for Reception & Year 1, with girls and boys equally welcome. Year 2s training was postponed due to the weather last week so more than welcome to come along to this session to keep sharp!

Whether your little one is already football mad or has never kicked a ball before, come along for fun, games, skills and plenty of smiles! ⚽😊

We're excited to be launching a new Under 7s training session for children in Year 2!

Open to boys and girls, whether they've played football before or are completely new to the game.

At Dalton United Juniors, we're all about giving children a fun, friendly place to develop confidence, make friends, learn new skills and, most importantly...enjoy their football!

With small-sided football becoming an exciting part of the game for this age group, there's never been a better time to get involved.

⚽ Tough opener to the season, but so much to take from it!

We created plenty of chances and there was some really nice passing and communication out there. The scoreline felt harsh given how well we played — but it’s worth remembering the kids haven’t had a full pitch run out in a while, we didn’t manage to get any pre-season friendlies in, and today was the first time the whole squad had been together in months. Give it another game or two and that sharpness and confidence will be back in full flow.

Just brilliant to see the kids back out there enjoying their football again.

Everyone did themselves proud today, and a big well done to Bam, Freddie and Finn on their full debuts for the team! 👏

Players of the Match went to Noah for a superb shift at the back, and Finn for some brilliant saves keeping us in it — but honestly, every single one of them deserves credit.

Great to be back! 🙌

⚽️🔴⚫️ Minis on the Meadow continues on Sunday at 10.00am for Reception class and Year 1s. Numbers have been good recently and the forecast is fine so come on down!

Our year 2s will be welcome also but will move to midweek after this one 👍. Still 2 places available due to drop outs... do spread the word!

📢 Minis on the Meadow continues! ⚽

We’re pleased to let parents know that our Minis on the Meadow sessions will be on tomorrow (Sunday)at 10.00am on Railway Meadow. Reception class and Year1s and 2s welcome.

These sessions are open to children of all abilities and are designed in line with The FA’s player development strategy, focusing on fun, inclusion, and maximum involvement for every child. They will also support our preparation for the FA-recommended 3v3 format, which will be introduced next season to help young players get more touches of the ball, more decision-making opportunities, and more enjoyment from the game.
