Last Night we held our annual Presentation Night where we presented all of our Cubs with some amazing awards for all there hard work 👏 during the Night we also held a raffle to help raise money for the club. We cannot thank all the friends, family and local businesses enough for supporting us and donating prizes they are all greatly recieved and appreciated ❤️

On the 29th March as a club we'll be holding our Horse racing fundraising Night 🏇 as a free volunteer led group we relay heavily on the support of our runners, businesses and grant to continue to run a group so many love. We are kindly looking for any businesses that would like to sponsor a race? Each race sponsorship costs £25 and In return your company logos will be displayed on the night and through our Facebook and Instagram page. If anyone would like to sponsor a racr then please send us a message, Thank you in advance ☺️

Over the last 3 weeks our fantastic Cubs and there families have been supporting us in our Food bank Collection. Today Rob Disa and Jason delivered our donations to the Barrow foodbank We Collected over 84kg of food, this will provide 200 meals to families in need over the Christmas period. Massive thank you to all our Cubs and there families ❤️🐆

This year we have a wonderful tree at St Mary's in Dalton, the theme this year was songs and we picked Sia Unstoppable because all our kids are all fantastic and there all Unstoppable in there own way ❤️ if you get change pop down and have a look there's so many beautiful trees there all raising money for some fantastic charities 👏

What a fantastic response we've had for our Raffle Prize search for our upcoming Presentation Night we've got vouchers from Tav's Inn Burger Van Kin Toffee Vodka Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway Alpacaly ever after Windermere Lake Cruises and more 😀 we cannot thank all the amazing businesses and people that have donated, your support and generosity is amazing ❤️

On the 27th September we are holding our Cubs Presentation Night. This night allows us to celebrate all the amazing achievements of our Cubs throughout the last year. We are looking for some raffles prizes for the night if anyone knows any local businesses or groups that may like to donate ❤️

Do you shop at Tesco?
Our amazing Cubs have been accepted to take part in the Tesco Strong start scheme, I'm sure you've seen the blue token boxes by the door and all we need from you is to grab a token when you're shopping and pop it in the box for us 🙂 we'll be collecting tokens in 5 stores (Walney,Big Tesco,Roose, Ulverston Express and Grange Over Sands) we'll be collecting from July till September and will give the cubs a boost. So please help if you can after all every little helps 🤩

Massive Thank you to Gill from Asda for presenting us with a community grant last night. Grants like this allow us to buy new equipment, keep our Run Leaders up to date with training and allow us to deliver the best sessions for the kids 😀

🤔 Are you up for the challenge? 💪

🏃‍♂️ We're looking at submitting a team for the C2B (Coniston 2 Barrow) this year in May. The walk is 21 miles for anyone who's interested 🏃‍♀️

🏃‍♂️ We need a minimum of 4 people to submit a team with a maximum of 12 people allowed in a team 🏃‍♀️

🏃‍♂️ Children who wish to take part will need parental permission and an adult to accompany them for the entirety of their run/walk 🏃‍♀️

Over the last two nights Charlie and Chickie Cheetah have been out delivering Christmas Chocolates to all of our fantastic cubs as a thank you for all their hard work this year 🐆

This was made possible by the fantastic generosity of the co-op community fund 👏 Charlie and Chickie popped in on Wednesday night to see the staff and thank them all in person, their support really does make a massive difference to our wonderful group 😀 so with that we wish all the staff at the co-op a Merry Christmas 🎄
