Unfortunately, after trying everything for weeks to update our page name to U8s and facebook not allowing it, we have gave up and made a new page.

If you want to keep up with the teams progress and have memories to look back on over the years give our new page a follow!

So proud of these lads today! 🔵🟡

Cup semis finalists! Finishing their group stages in first place, without losing a game or conceding a goal! 👏

From where we began to where we are now is amazing! It's all down to the hard work and efforts the lads have put in all throughout the season. A strong team with great desire, energy, ability, and most importantly teamwork and friendship!

It's an honour to coach these guys and to be able to be a part of their footballing journey!

I cant wait to see what the years to come have in store!

Our presentation night was a great success and a brilliant night 👏

Our players were rightly rewarded for their brilliant footballing abilities, attitudes and achievements as under 7s. They are a great set of kids who we are all so proud of!

We cant wait to get started in our next season and see what being Under 8s has in store for us! ⚽️🏆

Players and parents had a great time and we partied the Walney Blues way! 🥳

A massive thank you to those who helped us make the night special... Furness Cricket Club for being great hosts and allowing us the use of their venue 👏 Pete Murphy for being a great DJ and host with great music 👏 Kuko Entertainment for putting on an awesome Magic show for the children and entertaining the crowd 👏 BellaRee for feeding us all with their delicious food 👏

We'd also like to say a huge thank you to all the generous raffle donations we recieved from big and small companies in the local area and individuals too! Wow Walney Blues! 🌟 ⚽️

Firstly thanks to Vickerstown for putting on a great tournament! 🤝

Today the players have surpassed any expectations I had of them for this season! 👏

They again reached a Semi-Final but not of the shield but the Cup!! Putting them in the top 4 teams on the day! From where we began I never thought that would be possible!

The lads were a credit to themselves today and should be immensely proud of one another and themselves! I know the coaches and parents are!

That's the best they have played this season, they worked harder than they ever have before! Winning 3 of 4 group games and without conceding a goal in them!

Every single player has made massive progress in their own development and play as a real strong team unit! Well done and keep growing Blues! 💪

Our Player of the Tournament was... Finley!
He worked tirelessly in every game, he covered every blade of grass and scored 3 goals on top of this! As Captain for the day he was a great example!

The final league game of our U7s Season and it was a hard fought one against a tough Holker Greens team!

Our players gave it their all, worked hard and finished with smiles on their faces.
It was hard to break Holker down but they never gave up and got their goal with a great strike from Luca!

Our keeper, Jake, kept the game going with some fantastic saves earning him the well deserved player of the match award! 🏅
Jake has came into the team wanting to be the goalkeeper and he's impressed us every game!
It's not the most desired position on the pitch but by the smile on his face, he loves it!
Well done Jake!

The blues have worked really hard this season and improved week in, week out! They have grown strong as a team, football and friendship wise! We couldn't be prouder of how far they have come along in their first season together 💙

We look forward to some fun summer tournaments before we get prepared for the hard work and another good season of football as U8s!

Onwards and upwards Blues! 🔵🟡
