Cumbria Cricket Ltd , united and inspired to support clubs and create cricketing opportunities for everyone.

We introduce children to cricket in schools, provide a pathway to local Clubs. We offer development of their skills through development courses and fun holdiay courses/camps. Identification of talented players takes place at Junior fixtures and the Development Programmes-opportunity to play for the District and/or County representative boys squads ay U11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 17. For girls we have u13, 15, 17 and a senior womens county team. This is lead by the Women and Girls Development Group. We offer development of Cricket Clubs through Cricket District Development groups, consultation with the Cricket Leagues, and in partnership with Local Authorities, Active Cumbria and schools etc....
To support Clubs and Volunteers we have Coaches Association, Groundsmens Association, 6 District Development Groups, Leagues and Junior Leagues. We run Coach Education courses, Safeguarding and Promoting Childrens courses, First Aid and refreshers. Best of luck to Cumbria Cricket U18 Boys for their ECB U18 County Plate Final against Sussex at Kibworth CC today!🀞

They reached the final thanks to an excellent 71-run win against Nottinghamshire in the semi-final at Barrow Cricket Club - Ernest Pass πŸ‘

A fantastic achievement for the team to get this far - we'll be backing them all the way today! πŸ™Œ

A huge thank you to Ellwood Mortgages, Rosemere Cancer Foundation and 3-1-5 Health Club for their fantastic support today, helping to make an already historic occasion even more special for our players.

We may be one of the smaller counties, but reaching a national final shows what can be achieved through the talent and commitment of our players, coaches, families and everyone who supports cricket across Cumbria.
