We introduce children to cricket in schools, provide a pathway to local Clubs. We offer development of their skills through development courses and fun holdiay courses/camps. Identification of talented players takes place at Junior fixtures and the Development Programmes-opportunity to play for the District and/or County representative boys squads ay U11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 17. For girls we have u
13, 15, 17 and a senior womens county team. This is lead by the Women and Girls Development Group. We offer development of Cricket Clubs through Cricket District Development groups, consultation with the Cricket Leagues, and in partnership with Local Authorities, Active Cumbria and schools etc....
To support Clubs and Volunteers we have Coaches Association, Groundsmens Association, 6 District Development Groups, Leagues and Junior Leagues. We run Coach Education courses, Safeguarding and Promoting Childrens courses, First Aid and refreshers.
