Have had the most amazing time teaching Nordic walking sessions with a Tai Chi bonus for the Barrow Walking Festival.

2 sessions held in our awesome park with those amazing views from the Cenotaph.
I even challenged one group to a race up the slope!!!

Friday was equally great, with the stunning views out to Sea, what a great way to give our Chi a boost.

There are still plenty places for tomorrow’s session, the last one at How Tun woods.

As part of the Walk This Way Festival, Travel Actively Barrow are delighted to offer free Nordic Walking sessions to the residents of Barrow. We have four sessions available throughout the week, strictly limited to 10 participants each session so book early to avoid disappointment using the links below:

New research shows that increasing your daily walking time could significantly extend your lifespan.

Scientists estimate that walking an extra 111 minutes per day, bringing your total to 160 minutes daily, could help you live 11 years longer.
