⚽️🏆 Vickerstown Tournament Report – U11s 🏆⚽️
Our U11s took part in the Vickerstown Tournament this morning, and thankfully the weather turned out great ☀️. The squad arrived ready to go, knowing they faced a tough challenge after being drawn in a very strong group 💪.
The team improved with every game, showing great determination and teamwork throughout the morning 👏. Lucas got on the scoresheet during the group stage ⚽️, while Boris scored his first-ever goal for the club in the quarter-final victory 🎉⚽️, helping the team secure a place in the semi-finals 🙌.
The semi-final started strongly, with the boys creating a number of good chances and playing some excellent football 🔥. Unfortunately, they were caught by a counter-attack before a long-range effort found the net. Despite being the better side for large periods and putting in a performance that deserved more, it wasn't enough to reach the final.
🌟 Player of the Match: Patryk 🌟
Patryk has improved tremendously since joining the team. His communication with teammates was outstanding 🗣️, and his composure on the ball was excellent ⚽️. He always took his time, made the right decisions, and consistently picked out the right pass. A thoroughly deserved award – well done, Patryk! 👏🏅
A huge well done to the entire squad for battling right until the final whistle and representing the club brilliantly ❤️🖤.
