β½οΈπ Vickerstown Tournament Report β U11s πβ½οΈ
Our U11s took part in the Vickerstown Tournament this morning, and thankfully the weather turned out great βοΈ. The squad arrived ready to go, knowing they faced a tough challenge after being drawn in a very strong group πͺ.
The team improved with every game, showing great determination and teamwork throughout the morning π. Lucas got on the scoresheet during the group stage β½οΈ, while Boris scored his first-ever goal for the club in the quarter-final victory πβ½οΈ, helping the team secure a place in the semi-finals π.
The semi-final started strongly, with the boys creating a number of good chances and playing some excellent football π₯. Unfortunately, they were caught by a counter-attack before a long-range effort found the net. Despite being the better side for large periods and putting in a performance that deserved more, it wasn't enough to reach the final.
π Player of the Match: Patryk π
Patryk has improved tremendously since joining the team. His communication with teammates was outstanding π£οΈ, and his composure on the ball was excellent β½οΈ. He always took his time, made the right decisions, and consistently picked out the right pass. A thoroughly deserved award β well done, Patryk! ππ
A huge well done to the entire squad for battling right until the final whistle and representing the club brilliantly β€οΈπ€.
π¦ A massive thank you to Dom for the ice creams after the tournament β they went down a treat! π
π and another huge thank you, Dom Tiling Service, for our brand-new kits for next season. The boys can't wait to wear them! πͺπ₯
