Class of 2025!

The lads were superb in their first game at Tummer Hill. Every player played their part, it was great to see them play with a smile on their faces too.

It's been 3 years in the making for the majority of the group, with us having most of the same children since nursery. They'll definitely be missed when they move on to their teams in September.

⚽ 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 ⚽

It's all go with our Seaside Soccer groups at the minute, with spaces becoming available as a result.

Our Year 1 group are readying themselves for joining our partner clubs at Walney & Vickerstown and we're looking at potentially handing over 1 extra team than first planned.
𝘼𝙨 𝙖 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖 𝙛𝙚𝙬 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥.

We have expanded our Reception group over the last few weeks in preparation for them moving up a class.
𝙒𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥.

We have also started our new 2024/2025 Reception group this month which has been a great success.

Today our former Year 1 groups set off on their football journey's with Walney Island Juniors FC and Vickerstown Junior Football Club.

It's great to hear how well they did and most importantly, played with a smile on their faces.

I look forward to seeing how well they do in the coming with their new teams.

⚽️ 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 ⚽️

As many will already be aware we won't be running a Monday Nursery group or any groups on a Tuesday from September. It's been a difficult decision to make given the amount of enquiries we've had. However, due to my personal schedule and my own children's clubs, its becoming increasingly difficult to juggle everything. We will continue running our Monday Reception & Year 1 groups, providing teams to Walney Island FC & Vickerstown FC as we've done previously.

Our social media pages will change slightly too, with more focus being on the clubs the children will go on to represent. Everything else will remain, with our kits still being available for the children and myself operating as a Seaside Soccer coach on behalf of the clubs. This change will take effect in the coming days.

⚽️ 𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 ⚽️

Walney Blues new Under 7 team are looking for a coach to lead them into their first season of club football.

The group have spent the last 2 years being coached with Seaside Soccer and are now training weekly as they prepare to start in September.

Courses will be provided and paid for by the club with the guidance from club memebers when needed.

A space in the team will be made available for someone wanting to coach their child and take them on their football journey.

Both the children and parents of the team are very enthusiastic and will be credit to anyone taking the role.

Tomorrow I will be parting in my 3rd 24 gour game to raise funds for causes in the local area.

This year the teams have chosen to donate to St Marys Hospice & Barrow Foodbank. We will also be making a contribution towards a much needed full size 3g pitch which we havent got locally.

Its an unbelievably tough challenge that tests the teams physically and mentally. Given I'm fresh off a stag doo and playing through the pain of arthritis in my knees its going to be my toughest yet by far 🙈😂.
