In memory of Wilson Shepherd, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) will be holding a free heart screening event on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th July 2026, at Abbey Road Surgery for anyone aged 14–35.

🚨 Only limited spaces available 🚨

These simple screenings can detect previously unknown heart conditions with the potential to save lives🙏🏽

How to Book

1. Visit: www.testmyheart.org.uk/private/

2. Select Abbey Road Surgery – 25th & 26th July 2026 and click Register.

3. Enter the screening password: WILSON2026 (Please do not share this password publicly.)

4. Choose your preferred appointment time and click Register Now. (You can book up to three appointments at once.)

5. Complete the online health questionnaire (approximately 15 minutes).

Another new addition is on the way… 👀💪

We’ve got another delivery landing today from the brand new and very popular Primal Performance Series Plate Loaded Rotating Smith Back Row.

This piece has been getting a lot of attention, and for good reason. This versatile gym machine can be used either as a traditional Smith Machine Row or, with the seat pad adjusted, as an Incline Smith Machine Row with chest support.

Ergonomically designed to promote a natural range of motion, the guided path minimises momentum, helping to better isolate the back muscles - especially during lat-focused movements. This controlled movement pattern supports slow, eccentric-focused reps to enhance muscle hypertrophy.

🚑 First Aid Training This Sunday 🚑

This Sunday our Transformation Unit staff will be taking part in a First Aid Training Course taking place on the matted area upstairs.

✅ Business as usual – the gym and reception will remain open throughout the day.

⚠️ Please note:
The upstairs area above reception will be closed from 9:00am – 4:00pm while the training is in progress.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue to invest in staff training and safety.

Here at Transformation Unit, we pride ourselves on truly listening to our members and always doing our very best to provide the highest quality equipment available.

That’s why we are beyond excited to finally announce that we’ve secured not one…..but TWO of the most talked about treadmills on the market, the incredible Woodway Treadmill 🔥

Even better? This is a machine that has been highly requested by YOU.

Both Woodway treadmills will be located in our Functional Fitness area, making it easier than ever for members training in that space especially those preparing for HYROX
to move through their stations efficiently and effectively.

This upgrade will:
