What a weekend at Albacete 🇪🇸🏁

Round 3 of the MIR Aspar Racing in Promo3 and definitely a weekend that tested us!

A trip through the gravel after missing a braking marker, a leaking fork seal, then a snapped chain on the out lap of Q2 which meant no chance to improve our qualifying time.

That left Travis starting P22 for both races. But he kept fighting.

🏁Race 1: P22 ➡️ P16
🏁Race 2: P22 ➡️ P14

P14 — his best finish of the season so far.

Lots learned, new PBs set and another big step forward racing against some seriously quick riders in Spain.

Unfortunately Valencia has now been cancelled, so the next stop on this Spanish adventure will be Jerez next month

Why 4️⃣ ➜ 4️⃣0️⃣

For the last 7 years I've raced with number 4.

When we entered the MIR Racing Aspar Cup in Spain this year, 4 was already taken… so I had to choose something different.

The answer was pretty simple.

Keep the 4. Add a 0. 👊

So 4 will always be my number, but when I'm racing in Spain, look out for 40 🇬🇧🇪🇸

Next up: Round 3 at Albacete 🏁

5–6 September. Let's go! 🔥

First time racing at East Fortune this weekend, competing in both the Restricted and Unrestricted 300 class — and what a weekend it turned out to be! 🏁🔥

Four races, with four 1st in class and four 2nd overall 🥇🥈

To top it all off, we managed to set a new lap record in the last race! ⏱️🏆

Couldn’t have asked for much more from my first time at the circuit. Really enjoyed learning the track, getting quicker throughout the weekend and finishing it off with the lap record.

Massive thanks to Melville Motor Club - Scotland for getting me in last minute and allowing us to race and to everyone who helped and supported me over the weekend.

Onto the next one! 💪🏍️💨

Looking back at the Silverstone junior GP weekend

A strong weekend for Travis, having not rode his mini bike all year he showed great pace across both classes and fighting hard all weekend!

Extreme 200

Qualified P5

Race 1 - P7
Race 2 - P4

Metrakit GP70

Qualified P3

Race 1 - P6
Race 2 - Running strongly in P3 and looking good while battling for the position, before unfortunately being taken out in a racing incident.

Not the ending we wanted, but that’s racing. The pace was there and Travis gave it everything, with plenty of positives to take away from another competitive weekend.

Had a weekend Knockhill Racing Circuit in reverse.

Firstly a huge thank you to knockhill for the photos and the support to allow me up to have some fun. It was a well run weekend and plenty of track time.

I was on my MIR promo3 bike in with the 300s.

Had a couple practise sessions to learn the track

Qualifying (wet): I managed to finish 2nd overall and 1st in class in qualifying which I was really happy with considering im not usually comfortable in the wet. Started P2 in all races. Really need to work on my starts.

Race 1:🥈overall and 🥇in class.

Race 4:🥈overall and 🥇in class

Great weekend even though all races were on my own. Well done to Daz 14 for winning all the races.
