🔥 Nopinz Racing Roundup
From European Championships gold medals to national titles, record-breaking performances and huge personal milestones, it’s been another action-packed week for the Nopinz community!
Donald Brooks kicked things off with a MASSIVE two days at the European Championships, coming away with double gold in his age group across both draft-legal sprint and Olympic distance events.
Pedal Revolution were also flying at the VC Baracchi 25, taking three category wins through Hannah O’Brien, Matt O’Brien and Liam Jacobs. Hannah has been on a fantastic run of form this season too, adding multiple TT wins, a District 10TT title and a string of podium finishes to an already impressive year.
On the track, Jessica Disley celebrated a huge milestone by taking her first British national title at the British National Derny Championships, while Masaya Izawa delivered a record-breaking performance at the Japan National Track Championships, claiming gold in the Men’s Elite 4km Individual Pursuit.
The TT scene was once again full of strong results, with Kimberley Barfoot-Brace taking a huge win at the ECCA 100 mile TT in 3:46:40, while Team Bottrill Nopinz’s Jake Sargent enjoyed a brilliant weekend with victories at both the Chippenham Wheelers 50TT and Swindon 10TT.
It was great to see Matt Dewhurst take the win at the brutal Slateman ‘Legend’ 70.3, while Ian Dempsey made his return to triathlon racing for the first time since November 2022.
Another week of big efforts, breakthrough moments and standout performances from the Nopinz community 👊
