Our teacher Bella has had the wonderful delight of being able to choreograph this show. This heartwarming story will make you feel a mix of emotions, we would love to see as many of you there as possible. Next week at Queens Theatre!❤️
Here’s a little bit about it :
💙 The heart of Come From Away
THESE AREN’T JUST CHARACTERS. THESE ARE REAL PEOPLE.
The story of Come From Away was built from interviews with the people who were actually there; the passengers, pilots, crew and people of Gander. The writers sat down with them, listened to their experiences and brought those real stories to the stage.
And what happened when those planes landed is what makes their stories so special.
Strangers opened their homes to strangers.
People shared food, beds and whatever they had.
Friendships were made.
There was laughter, music and moments of joy in the middle of something incredibly difficult.
At its heart, Come From Away is a story about people.
About kindness.
About community.
About looking after someone who needs you.
And about the connections we can make when we least expect them.
It’s funny, moving, uplifting and it’s a story that stays with you long after the final song.
We’re so excited to bring these stories to life on stage at the Queen’s Theatre. 💙
