The Muddy Awards are very much close to our hearts, as in 2019 our co-founder Imogen won the title ‘Best Yoga & Pilates Instructor’ in Devon, representing North Devon in the growing wellness community, and showcasing that we walk the talk here at our rural yoga & wellness retreat centre.

We now need your help again to claim the title for ‘Best Wellness Break’ in Devon! Winning this award would mean a lot - it would recognise the years we've spent making this one of Devon's best retreat spots.

Spring Equinox. The turn of spring. The king of seasons.
The sunshine feels like it's finally back. It was so gorgeous yesterday and I wanted to soak up every last ray of that dipping sun so we chased it down to the sea. Such a special place. That's monkeys head way off in the distance. This weekends retreat group will be setting off here for a hill hike possibly finished off with a dip in this gorgeous cove.

Feeling the elements. The sun warming your bones, crisp air in your lungs, cool water on your skin, and soft sand underfoot.

The earth is heaven.
And she keeps turning.

Holding welcoming, supportive spaces is such a valuable thing to do, especially in this moment. A retreat, a step outside of ones everyday experience, to rekindle connection with perhaps forgotten parts of self. A shift in perspective, an invitation to breathe deeply and take care of the basics.. the very foundations of existence.

Just soaking up the seasons over here 🎄
One of my favourite things is to watch how the landscape changes throughout the year.

I love tweaking our experiences to the seasons, winter is only a challenge when you're out of balance with it.

Ayurveda teaches us a wealth of knowledge in how to stay in tune and in balance throughout the year, in the most simple ways, sometimes that it can almost seem too simple and easy. Just as it should be ❤️
